XXth International Saloon of Defence Industry in Kielce – MSPO 2012
The Military Institute of Armament Technology participated in the XXth International Saloon of Defence Industry in Kielce on 03-06 September, 2012. The Institute’s booth this year was a part of the Military Scientific and Defence Group and as usually was frequented by many visitors. The Booth was visited by 20 official foreign delegations to have talks on projects being currently led and the new ones for a potential co-operation. Apart of official meetings there were many occasions for talks between Institute’s specialists and representatives of defence and industry from Poland and abroad on such topics as armours for light vehicles, sensors and systems for monitoring the battlefield and the utilisation of explosive ordnance. The Institute has presented the newest developments like an imitator of the aerial target Vermin developed jointly with the Eurotech company that effectively increases the level of training of antiaircraft defence troops, hybrid composite helmet protecting against bullets and fragments developed under the Project POIG 01.03.01-10-0050, high explosive and training ammunition for tanks, illuminating and smoke mortar ammunition. The pride of the Institute’s booth was a remarkable collection of Defender prizes the Institute has received in recent years.
